'My fault to hire him' - Davidovich Fokina 'abandoned' by coach in French Open


Alejandro Davidovich Fokina was left without coach Mariano Puerta midway through the French Open after Puerta quit by text message. The split came hours after Davidovich Fokina’s five-set first-round win over Damir Dzumhur, and it left him to continue at Roland Garros without his coach. One account of the breakup said Puerta left after the opening match and later flew to Miami.
