Matteo Arnaldi beat Frances Tiafoe in five sets to reach the French Open quarter-finals, ending Tiafoe’s run as the last American man in the draw. The win also set up an all-Italian last-eight match with Matteo Berrettini, while Arnaldi claimed the final quarter-final place in the men’s draw. The match lasted 5 hours, 26 minutes and finished after 1 a.M. In Paris.
