Alejandro Davidovich Fokina says his coach left him midway through his French Open run and flew to Miami without telling him. The split turned into an off-court disruption during a major clay-court event and came while he was still competing in Paris. Tennis-wise, the coaching break adds a fresh setback for a player trying to manage a Grand Slam campaign under pressure. The matter also left him dealing with the fallout during match play.
