Angelo Binaghi has backed the players in the prize-money dispute with the Grand Slams. The Italian Open president also used the moment to renew his push to make Rome a fifth Grand Slam. Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff are among the players linked to talk of a boycott. The stance puts him squarely against the major tournaments.
