The Americans still playing at Wimbledon


Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff and Madison Keys are still alive in the Wimbledon women’s draw as Week 2 begins, and Taylor Fritz is the lone American man remaining. The women’s showing is a record number of Americans still in the event, giving the U.S. A major presence on both sides of the tournament. For Fritz, the open path matters because he is carrying the American men’s hopes deeper into the second week.
