Felix Auger-Aliassime makes history by reaching first Roland Garros quarterfinal

Felix Auger-Aliassime reached his first Roland Garros quarterfinal by beating Alejandro Tabilo in straight sets on Court Philippe-Chatrier. The win was his first quarterfinal in eight Paris attempts and his fifth Grand Slam quarterfinal overall, while Tabilo’s run ended with a shot at the last eight gone. Auger-Aliassime also survived major mid-match swings earlier in the tournament, including comebacks against Brandon Nakashima and Daniel Altmaier.
