Shelton joins Alcaraz, Djokovic and Bublik with clay, grass and hard titles in one season as he takes Stuttgart

Ben Shelton beat Taylor Fritz to win the Stuttgart Open, adding a grass-court title to his season and extending his winning run over Fritz to three. The victory gave Shelton his sixth career title and made him the first American man in 16 years to win titles on three different surfaces. It also put him in a group of players who have collected clay, grass and hard titles in the same season.
