Zverev beats Cobolli in five-set thriller to win first Grand Slam title


Alexander Zverev beat Flavio Cobolli in the French Open final to win his first Grand Slam title. The win came in a five-set thriller at Roland Garros and capped a breakthrough run for Cobolli, who reached his first major final. It gives Zverev the career-defining title he had been chasing and adds major points in the race to the ATP Finals in Turin. Cobolli's Paris run also lifted his standing sharply after the tournament.
