World No. 1 Jannik Sinner and 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic have withdrawn from the National Bank Open, the ATP Masters 1000 event beginning Aug. 1 in Montreal. Sinner opted to protect his body ahead of the US Open, ending his bid to win every Masters 1000 event in a single season.
