Luca Van Assche beat Alexander Blockx 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 in Estoril to win his first ATP Tour title. The Frenchman defeated three seeds and won four three-setters on the clay, with the title lifting him into the top 50 two years after he fell outside the top 200.
